Word processing software is used to create documents that are primarily text-based. Microsoft Word includes may features that can help you create professional looking documents by formatting, inserting graphics, and creating tables. Word provides menus, ribbons and toolbars for performing common tasks. Within Word, you can easily apply bold or italics to text, created numbered and bulleted lists, and modify font colors and settings. You can also readily check spelling, copy passages of text, duplicate formatting, and undo edits using the icons on the toolbars.
