This course has the following objectives:
• Provide students with the knowledge and skills to pursue a successful career in accounting.
• Increase students' awareness of the concepts which underly accounting information systems (AIS) in an increasingly competitive environment.
• Examine the role of the AIS in providing financial and nonfinancial information about anorganization's activity in support of the management process.
• Acquaint students with the reports, documents, procedures, and controls inherent in modern AIS.
